The
barn is an email book discussion list. It is also a special place where
its members can feel free to express themselves without fear of rebuke
or attack. We have no restrictions on what type of books we discuss and
all are appropriate, fiction, non-fiction, poetry, classics, good books
and bad books. We do not have scheduled reads, though a few members may
read a book at the same time and discuss it afterward. Our discussions
are not restricted to books, and it is not unusual for the daily chatter
to wander off into many areas, sports, film, each other... If you prefer
a studious literary group, then the barn would likely not be suitable.
If on the other hand, you're seeking a friendly and generous forum to spend
