It's been a very, very long time since I've read a book that consumed me. A book I thought about while I wasn't reading it; a book I couldn't wait to get back to; a book I was very sorry to see end. It's also been a very, very long time since I've read a book that was in more need of an editor, proofreader and grammar coach. This is quite possibly, one of the worst written books I've ever read.

And now that I've said that, I can rave about how damn great the book was. What a story. What a way to tell the story. What fine, fine, very fine pulp fiction this is. A trash novel at its very finest. Easily one of my top ten reads of the year.

How's that for a mixed message?
