I read Miss Julia Speaks Her Mind by Ann Ross this weekend, recommended some time ago by Kim. It could have taken place in Lenoir City (the nearest small town to my house). I loved how well the author knew Southern small town life and I laughed at the characters. The plot could have used some help, especially in the last third. Still a good read that my reading twin would like.
