Good Hope Road

Stuart Dischell

Purchase this title at B&N

Stuart Dischell is a good poet. He's funny, he's quirky, and his stuff is appealing and readable.

So what's the problem? The problem is, simply, that Stuart Dischell is a good poet, and not much else. There's nothing here to pull the reader in, or compel him to turn the pages; nothing that will make this an unforgettable work of poetry. Nothing makes it stand out from the crowd.

Readable, yes, but nothing more than that.
