Hard Time

The second major bit of reading I did was Hard Time by Sara Paretsky. I am a huge fan of V.I. Warshawski series. Anyone else? Well, this is the best one overall I think. VI has aged a little more (and so have I. I'm beginning to GET those references to old age she keeps making), but she's still feisty, smart and a definite nemesis to industrial crime. This is somewhat of a prison novel, too. Some portions are set in a vile and violent women's prison. Anyway, I loved it and read it near continuously for four straight days.
