Canone Inverso

Paolo Maurensig

Purchase this title at B&N

Not a mystery in the purest sense of the word, Maurensig crafts another psychological thriller. The tale begins in London with a narrator that wishes to tour Europe during Bach's birthday celebration and see the great orchestra's known for renditions of his music. In Vienna, we runs into someone that tells the story of a violin student at a world renowned music school near Vienna. The student began as a relatively young child, showing great promise. To go further would require spoilers.

Like "The Luneberg Variation", I'll probably re-read this one again soon, the tale is intricate enough that it left me wondering...
