Horse Heroes is another forty-eight page kids' reader about horses. Yes, I seem to be reading a lot of those lately. This one's kind of fun. Petty presents us with four to five page stories on a number of different horses, of disparate breeds and achievements, and makes them interesting and fun to read about. Definitely worthwhile for the horse-loving kid in your life.
