An Aurelio Zen mystery, this begins with a guy taking a header from the top of St. Peter's Basilica. The Vatican brings in Zen to "confirm" that the death is a suicide, which he is willing to do. The Secretary of State of the Vatican claims "no, no, no, we want a real investigation". That is what they get - and no, it wasn't suicide. It is, however, a great tale (possibly influenced by the fact that I was recently there and could put myself, in my mind's eye, at the locations they described). A real page turner.
