Timeline started out with a bang, and slowly fizzled into a typical blood and guts adventure story. The idea is neat, but I really became tired of the constant dangerous situations our academic heroes stumbled into, over and over and over. The science lectures did not help, either. However, twas a good escape read, and I can recommend it for a fun romp through history and quantum mechanics.
