I thought this was one of the most interesting biographies I have ever read. Not that I've read many, but still. Galileo and his theories fascinate me, so this was a real treat. I could have wished for more about Maria Celeste, but I guess Dava Sobel put in as much as she could, considering the few letters that survive. The ending left me speechless.
