Blindness

Jose Saramago

Purchase this title at B&N

I was a tad disappointed in the ending, but it pretty much was a powerful read, and very hard to put down. Surprisingly easy to get used to the lack of quotation marks - but I agree with what others have said, and that it helped to create a blind feeling in the reader. Very graphic, but realistic. How many authors deal honestly with normal bodily functions? A very good novel, on my scale.
