Prodigal Summer

Barbara Kingsolver

Purchase this title at B&N

I loved this one. It was kind of 3 stories entwined. I know people say that Kingsolver can tend to get on her soapbox but I actually enjoyed reading her thoughts on the subject. This time it was mainly about animal predators and how we should actually be thankful for them since they help get rid of a lot of other pests. But what I enjoyed most were the human stories. The characters developed over the course of the book and opinions changed. Relationships bloomed. I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
