Black Dogs

Ian McEwan

Purchase this title at B&N

This book was different than what I expected from the title. Somehow I thought the black dogs would be featured more prominently. Instead, it's the story of their impact on the philosophical outlook of a woman and how that affects her relationship with her husband. This is the sixth book (Enduring Love, Amsterdam, Atonement, The Cement Garden, The Comfort of Strangers) I've read of his and my least favorite.
