Pointed food for thought. I saw Maher on "TalkBack Live" actually arguing with some 21-year-old about the need for sacrifice; Maher said we're in a war, you have to give up some things, the kid seemed to think that the whole point of living in America was maintaining our incredibly high standard of living EVEN as we try to fight terrorism. With idiot kids like this, I wonder what the future brings. I disagree with Maher on some matters -- his calls for neighbors watching out for other neighbors are a little too Ashcroftian for my taste -- but overall I think he's right on.
